Lately a beautiful idea has been smouldering in my heart. It wants to be a novel. And I need your help to make it happen.

THE CRETAN PROJECT is an invitation. I'm asking you to join me behind the scenes. To watch the creation of a unique, powerful story. To read it as it's written. To chart its mutations. To help it grow.

The book is many things. A historical epic. A dreamlike fantasy. A modern metaphor about special minds being othered. It tells the tale-behind-the-tale of a child who's been slandered by millennia of myth. A little boy born differently at a time of imperial convulsions and religious schisms.
